After you arrive at the airport, we will transfer you to your hotel by coach as per the classical Russia 8 nights 9 days cultural tour package. Take some time to relax and explore the city on your own until your tour starts.
On day 2, we will begin our tour of St. Petersburg with a local guide, visiting the Peter and Paul Fortress and taking in the panoramic views of the city. Witness the magnificence of Peterhof Palace.
On the third day of the tour, planned through the Russia cultural travel package, we will visit the Hermitage Museum. Explore the city at your leisure.
The fourth day of the journey will take you through the beautiful Russian countryside, with its forests, lakes, and picturesque villages. Our first stop is Novgorod, where you will visit the Kremlin and the court of Yaroslav. Next, you will visit the ancient monastery on an island in Valday Lake before heading to Tver.
On the fifth day, the journey will take you through the charming countryside of Russia, passing by pretty villages and historic cities of the Golden Ring. We will visit the house of the brilliant composer Tchaikovsky in KLIN. After lunch, we will continue along small roads that pass through historical cities such as Alexandrov and Yuryev Polskiy before arriving in Suzdal as scheduled in the classical Russia cultural vacation package.
On day 6, the tour group will have the opportunity to witness the creation of the famous Matryoshka dolls and learn how to paint them. Then, they will visit Suzdal. The tour includes visiting the Wooden Architecture Museum and the Church of the Transfiguration. After visiting the Monastery of St. Eugene, the group will be treated to a bell concert before proceeding to the grand Cathedral of the Assumption in Vladimir. The day ends with the group arriving in Moscow in the late afternoon.
On day 7 you will explore Moscow's grand avenues and landmarks, including the Lenin's Mausoleum, Red Square, Cathedral of Christ the Saviour and St. Basil's Cathedral. You will visit the Kremlin and its main cathedrals.
The eighth day of the tour planned through the Russia cultural trip package, is scheduled to visit the viewpoint over Moscow and Great Patriotic War Museum.
Transfer to the airport for the end-of-tour services after breakfast.
