Your 4 nights 5 days Machu Picchu hiking and trekking tour package begins with your arrival in Cusco. Our representative will meet you at the airport and then transfer you to the hotel. After breakfast, we'll embark on a challenging hike to the base camp of Salkantay mountain, one of the most sacred peaks in the Andes. As we ascend, we'll pass through diverse landscapes, including lush valleys, snow-capped peaks, and glacial lakes.
On day two of the Machu Picchu trekking trip package, we'll wake up early and continue our trek to the highest point of the Salkantay trek. The ascent to the summit is steep and demanding, but the panoramic views from the top are breathtaking. From here, we'll be able to see the entire Salkantay mountain range, as well as the valley below. We'll then descend to our campsite for the night, where we'll rest and refuel for the next day's adventure.
On the third day of the Machu Picchu trekking travel package, we'll hike to Llaqtapata, an Incan archaeological site that offers spectacular views of Machu Picchu. Along the way, we'll pass through small villages and witness the local way of life in the Andes. At Llaqtapata, we'll set up our tents and spend the night, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and the rich history of the area.
On the fifth day of our Machu Picchu trekking holiday package, we'll hike to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu. The trail follows the Urubamba River, passing through the dense cloud forest and offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. In the afternoon, we'll arrive in Aguas Calientes and check into our hotel, where we'll have time to relax and prepare for our visit to Machu Picchu the next day.
