Paro to Thimphu: Experience the Historical Essence of Paro

You will meet a guide at the airport from where after a small rest, you will set out on the journey to explore. The 4 nights 5 days Bhutan group tour package begins with a visit to historical sites in Paro. After which you can visit the most beautiful valley of Bhutan known as Paro valley. Then you will travel to Thimphu and check into a hotel.

Exploring Thimphu: A Day Full of New Experiences

You will begin your day with Memorial Stupa built in Buddhist architecture, Changangkha monastery from the 12th century, and Tashichhodzong, a place with historical and political significance. After this, you can explore more at the Folk Heritage Museum, and Academies of Textile, Art, and Craft. Then you will visit the world's largest Buddha statue and Sangaygang which offers a panoramic view of Thimphu and the surrounding mountains.

Punakha valley: Exploring the Roots of Bhutan

You will start Day 3 by visiting the interiors of Punakha valley and walking along the terraced rice fields and traditional farmhouses. From there you will take a 45 min ride to Dochula pass descending through rich flora and fauna, which leads to the Temple of Fertility with this amazing Bhutan group vacation package. Then visit Punakha Dzong, a monastery fortress from the 17th century. Dinner and overnight in Punakha.

Punakha to Paro: Spend Your Day with Local People

A drive to Paro early in the morning and set on a hike for 1.5 hours to Taktsang Monastery. Have lunch at the viewpoint cafeteria while descending. Then you will visit the 7th-century Kichu Temple. As evening approaches you will spend time with a local family at their place and enjoy delicious Bhutanese cuisine with them. You can then visit a nearby pub or take a hot stone bath to relax and enjoy the last night in Bhutan.
