You will be taken to your hotel for check-in when your flight lands in Tirana. Once you've freshen-up, get ready for a picturesque trip to Gjirokastra, commonly known as "The Stone City" and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The medieval bazaar must be passed by before you can enter the Gjirokastra castle. You'll be astounded by the enormous variety of handmade goods produced by regional artists and manufacturers as you stroll through the picturesque old town, which tumbles down a graceful hill filled with lovely little lanes covered with exquisite stonework. We'll go to one of Gjirokastra's best-preserved homes, where everything is entirely original and real. Spent the night in Gjirokastra.
You will continue your journey from Gjirokastra to Butrint, one of the UNESCO world heritage sites, after breakfast. The beautiful natural settings and the remains make it worthwhile to visit. We will next travel to Ksamil. When you are on its white sand beaches and can see the four islands in front of the shore, you will feel like you are exploring some tropical paradise. One of the nicest beach towns in all of Europe, Ksamil is the jewel of the Albanian Riviera. The lovely waters and excellent sand beaches of Ksamil are its main draws. With the Albania trip package, after breakfast, get set to drive through the Albanian Riviera, passing some of the most picturesque beaches, including Llamani, Dhermi, and Palasa. The town of 1001 Windows in Berat, which is your next stop, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Observing the medieval old houses with their windows that appear to be stacked on top of one another while strolling through the winding stone alleyways is amazing. Following breakfast, Go to the historic town of Durres, passing past the Amphitheatre, Roman remains, and Venetian Tower. Your journey will continue as you head to the promenade by the "Vollga" beach. Enjoy a coffee and the view of the boundless sea while basking in the sunshine. The local ice cream should not be missed when visiting Durres. The journey through history and adventure comes to a close as you will be dropped at the airport to catch a flight back home.
