- Valley of Stars: It is one of the most unique attractions and the “MUST SEE” in Qeshm. At first glance, you might feel that you have stepped on planet Mars because of the red pointy cones and pillars made of arcs, bulkheads, erosion, and stripped shaped parapets. It is recommended not to visit the place at night because it is haunted. The locals of the city believe that the valley has genes and ghosts. - Qeshm Portuguese Castle: Located on the northern side of Qeshm Island, this castle was constructed by Portuguese forces in the 16tth century. Built-up of plaster and limestone, this castle occupies an area of more than 2,000 m2. The corners of the castle are guarded by a sturdy tower and these towers have some of the most powerful weapons including cannons and trebuchets. The delightful views of the castle make it one of the best historical attractions on the island.
- Namakdan Salt Cave: Situated along the southern coast with a length of six kilometers, it is one of the world’s largest salt cave in the world which is filled with fragile salt sculptures, huge salt mega domes, and salt rivers. You will find numerous crimson red, purple, blue, pink, and white salt crystals here. The salt here is filled with goodness and minerals which is beneficial for the lungs through its therapeutic qualities.
- Jame’ Mosque of Qeshm: Said to be constructed in the year 1202, Qeshm Jame’ Mosque is built in the memory of ‘Sooqiyeh’ (wife of the ruler of the times in Qeshm’. The mosque has a rectangular shaped nocturnal area which has 16 columns divided into two rows.

How to Get Around
Taxi is the most convenient way to get around the city and hailing one from the street is easy. It is recommended to bargain before boarding one.
In case of an emergency, you can ask for a lift but make sure not to show thumb up as it is considered as an obscene gesture.
